Terms and Conditions
Health Requirements
Findel coaching events involve significant physical activity from all participants, including a range of common cardiovascular, aerobic, strength, endurance, balance and flexibility exercises. Typical activities are of a similar nature to the kind involved in club-level training for the relevant sport(s) covered by the event. Findel operates the event strictly on the basis that it is suitable only for participants who are fit and healthy to attend typical training of this nature. To complete this form, we require that the submitting party confirm, on behalf of themselves and all other attendees (whether adults or young people) on whose behalf they submit the form (the “Attendees”), that all Attendees to whom their form relates are sufficiently fit and healthy to attend a coaching event of this nature. The submitting party is also required to promptly inform Findel if and when the suitability of the coaching event for any of the Attendees changes, and to abide by any instructions of Findel in respect of any Attendee for whom health and fitness concerns are raised. Unless and until drawn to Findel’s attention, Findel shall accept no responsibility or liability to the submitting party or any Attendee in respect of any health and fitness concerns or risks that were not properly drawn to its attention prior to the day of the relevant coaching event.
DBS Checks
Findel coaching events may be attended by adult coaching staff and by children and/or young people and may involve all attendees working together in group exercises. It is imperative that all children and young people remain protected throughout, and we therefore require that all adult participants in the coaching event have obtained and can provide if requested a valid DBS check in the 24 months prior to the date of the event. Prospect adult attendees who lack the required check unfortunately cannot attend until the necessary check is completed and can be evidenced. As such, we require that the submitting party confirm on behalf of themselves and any other adult participants that all attending adults have a valid DBS check for the time of the event. Note that this requirement does not apply to parents who attend but do not participate in the coaching event.
Consent for Photos/Videos
Where suitable, Findel’s dedicated staff may take photos and videos of the coaching event for use in various forms across the Findel group, including to provide information about coaching event, to accompany other information about Findel’s activities and/or to market products supplied by Findel. To facilitate this, we require that the submitting party confirm, on behalf of themselves and all other attendees (whether adults or young people) on whose behalf they submit the form (the “Attendees”), that all Attendees to whom their form relates provide their consent for such photos and videos to be taken and used in the manner described. Where this includes Attendees who are children or young people, we also require that consent for the taking of photos and videos be obtained by the submitting party for each young person from their relevant parent or guardian before the form is submitted. The submitting party is also required to promptly inform Findel if and when any of the gathered consents for any of the Attendees changes, and to abide by any instructions of Findel in respect of any Attendee for whom consent is not provided. Unless and until drawn to Findel’s attention, Findel shall accept no responsibility or liability to the submitting party or any Attendee in respect of any photos or videos taken of any Attendees where the submitting party confirms the relevant consent and has not drawn any relevant consent issues to the attention of Findel.
